I uploaded a new Message Board, entirely rebuilt from scratch to get the best performance out of it and fixed some bugs with the picture gallery and the guestbook.
May this day be a good start for many interesting discussions on Schwicky.net!

From now, I offer you the oportunity to have your own ´Schwicky.net´ Message Board.
You can have one that just looks like mine, or a 100% customisable one. Just ask for it, I´ll create you one and you can test it. Take it or leave it, you have nothing to loose...

Schwicky.net is now featuring the Kontrollmatrix Generator. It's a cool script of my own, that prints a nice quote everytime you visit schwicky.net. There aren't many for the moment, but I'll add more soon and I'll implement some a function that will allow you to submit your own quotes for the Generator.

This has been a black day in World's history. Today, a bunch of crooks, a band of damned assholes, respectless terrorists have destroyed the New York World Trade Center. Four planes have been hijacked, two of them crashed into the WTC, one into the Pentagon and the last one's destination was Pennsylvania. This attack against freedom, liberalism, democracy and mankind is brutal and horrible. I'm still not sure I can really understand what happened but I want the responsibles and those who helped them to be found and punished. My deepest compassion and sympathy goes to the people and their families who lived this attack in America.

You see, I consider that a man's brain originally is like a little empty
attic, and you have to stock it with such furniture as you choose. A fool
takes in all the lumber of every sort he comes across, so that the knowledge
which might be useful to him gets crowded out, or at best is jumbled up with
a lot of other things, so that he has difficulty in laying his hands upon it.
Now the skilful workman is very careful indeed as to what he takes into his
brain-attic. He will have nothing but the tools which may help him in doing
his work, but of these he has a large assortment, and all in the most perfect
order. It is a mistake to think that that little room has elastic walls and
can distend to any extent. Depend upon it there comes a time when for every
addition of knowledge you forget something that you knew before. It is of
the highest importance, therefore, not to have useless facts elbowing out
the useful ones.
