Plotwise here's what I have for now. Mulder is admitted into a hospital in New Mexico with bizarre symptoms. These may stem from a strange artifact a doctor finds (this doctor believes in something called "Panspermia" which is the belief that life originated on Mars). A colleague of his has alterior motives with regards to the artifact.

The character of Albert Hosteen was last seen in "Paper Clip". Nice to see him back but don't get attached to him, he'll be killed off.

In news more disturbing to me than anything I've heard this year, I've been told that Skinner betrays Mulder and Scully :-( Maybe he's just ticked at his limited role this season and fighting back! Seriously

though, with Krycek's appearance (very small), I'm sure this ties in with the nanotechnology from "S.R. 819". While I can't speak for what the Big Boys have in store for him next season, I can assure you Skinner will not be killed off this season, just so you know.

Actor Bill Dow will be a familiar face, he's appeared as Dr. Charles Burks in "Leonard Betts", Dr. Newton in "War Of The Coprophages", Dr. Charles Burk in "The Calusari" and Dad in "Jersey Devil". That Dr. Charles Burk(s) must be an injoke of some sort!
